You are a seasoned QA Engineer with experience in assuring the quality of agile web development projects build on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) technology. You integrate yourself in an agile team delivering web content management systems (WCMS) in a highly complex and dynamic environment. You are guiding the team to deliver high quality solutions. You ensure these solutions are well documented and tested before they are released to production. You are comfortable working with agile development methods. You participate actively in daily Scrum disciplines (stand-ups, estimates, progress reporting).

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance on quality topics
  • Ensure documentation standards
  • Build and maintain automated testing mechanisms
  • Build, design, execute and document tests
  • Test websites across different devices using exploratory techniques
  • Ensure quality of system
  • Continuous learning and education
  • Potentially lead and develop a more junior QA engineer


Qualification, Years of Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor or Master degree in information technology or related
  • Quality assurance project team member > 5 years
  • Quality assurance lead in technical projects > 4 years
  • Experience in testing customer facing web applications > 5 years
  • Experience with accessibility, security, performance and automated testing > 4 years
  • Experience with a typical enterprise requirements management and development stack (JAMA, JIRA, JENKINS, GIT, SVN) > 4 years
  • Active involvement in Scrum projects > 2 years
  • Experience with web services protocols such as REST & SOAP
  • Experience with Selenium for test automation
  • Understanding of different web browsers and different mobile device (market share, versions functionality and limitations)
  • Pharma regulations (GxP) experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fluent English, ability to easily communicate with international colleagues


Specific information related to the position:
  • Willingness for occasional international travel
  • Willingness to occasionally stay up to 3 months in Germany or US
  • Flexibility to attend critical meetings remotely across different time zones (Europe, North America, LatAm)
