Job Title : Regional Training Manager

Dept Name : Commercial Excellence

Reporting To : National Training Manager

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master Degree preferably with Degree or diploma in Management

Professional Experience :

Minimum 7 - 10 Years' experience in Pharmaceutical selling out of which he/she should have worked as an Area Manager for at least 2 years and minimum of one year of sales training experience. A candidate with an overall exposure from both RX as well as OTC will be a preferred choice.

Key areas of responsibility :

Trainer of the zone

  • Identify and tabulate the training needs of the field force in the zone.
  • Conduct 3 days mini induction training to the newly recruited BE/TMR/FSRs, in case there is a gap of 15 days before the next central induction program.
  • Conduct 10 to 12 days Central Induction Training Program for newly recruited BE/TMR/FSRs.
  • Support Area Managers in their coaching process during JFW done by them, through observation, demonstration and by conducting COACH THE COACH sessions.
  • Facilitate Area Managers in sustaining the impact of training provided to BE/TMR/FSRs through continuous on the job coaching; evaluate the effectiveness of the training programmes imparted and document it.
  • Provide training in City Pool meetings, as per the identified training needs.
  • Send appropriate and relevant write ups / newsletters to the field for quick reference and effective application.
  • Organise and conduct all Class room training programme/ cycle workshop meetings/E-Quiz as and when required.


Others
  1. In Coordination with area manager to identify and maintain a database of prospective candidates with complete details for use when in need to fill vacancies, interview prospective candidates and documents.
  2. Reference check to be carried out for the selected candidates
  3. Employment booklet for an interviewed candidate to be checked before sending to HO.
  4. Liaison with HR and HO to ensure the basic requirement of the new field employees are met in time, viz, appointment letter, employee I.D card, visiting card, detailing bag, etc.
