As Manager Sourcing Production Materials (Packaging- and/or Raw Materials) Healthcare based in Mumbai (India), you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of packaging and raw materials related spend categories for our Pharmaceutical Production (internal/external) in India. The Sourcing Manager is accountable for the performance of the suppliers and coordination of sourcing projects with the stakeholders (Supply chain and Quality). You should be experienced in extensive cross-functional collaboration, use of strategic sourcing best practices to maximize value in terms of supply risk reduction, supplier management, cost savings, innovation, quality and supplier performance.

Further, you will act as Sourcing Scout for production materialsavailable inthe Indian market and support the Healthcare community accordingly.

Job Purpose:

Enable sites and business sector to maintain and improve its competitiveness towards the market by means of the Group Procurement value drivers. Focus on all activities are suitable quality, flexibility in supplies, risk mitigation, best possible pricing. Function owner acts as link for Group Procurement into the local organization.

Strategic Impact:

Develops and leads local sourcing projects in the area of responsibility and in cooperation with the reporting line;

Impacts team effectiveness through quality of own work and the support of others in the Healthcare sourcing team;

Works under full consideration oforganisation guidelines and policies.

Scope of People Responsibility:

Manages own workload.

No direct team responsibility.

Key Accountabilities:

1) Sourcing

Develops and executes sourcing strategies for the area of responsibility in close cooperation with the reporting line;

Is accountable for spend and price development in area of responsibility;

Develops risk mitigation plans for key materials and/or services in alignment with local stakeholders as well as Sector category Healthcare Packaging and Raw Materials;

Is accountable for appropriate vendor management on local level;

Ensures adequate implementation and use of Group Procurement value drivers;

Ensures compliance with all relevant SOPs such as Source to Contract;

Ensures achievement of sourcing relevant KPI's as defined on the beginning of each year;

Maintains SAP database.

2)Stakeholder management

Establishes and maintains close interaction with key counterparts at site;

Ensures communication of relevant Procurement topics, results, KPIs, etc. to the respective counterparts / stakeholders;

Provides transparency to the Sector Category Healthcare Packaging and Raw Materials on key developments in their area of their responsibility;

3) Others

Understands how to engage and interact with other teams in order to achieve overall objectives;

Builds knowledge of the organization, processes, customers and key business drivers;

Contributes to the delivery of savings toward the sector targets each year;

Be required to support other members of the Sourcing Sector Healthcare in sourcing tasks;

Required to travel internationally;

Cooperation:

Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations;

Uses sound interpersonal skills to interact across business areas, e.g. across boundaries or in networks;

Education:

Requires a graduate degree that provides knowledge of theories, principles and concepts within a discipline.

Skills:

Fluent command of English (verbally as well as in writing);

Working knowledge of relevant SAP system.

Work Experience:

Requires relevant professional experience in international sourcing functions preferably in the healthcare market;

Experience in working as member of an international matrix;

Non-graduate jobholders require a substantial amount of professional experience and additional qualifications that also provide exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts;

An extensive market know how or convincingly showing a high potential to develop it in short time.
