SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

In this role as Sr. Associate or Specialist you will support the product managers (PMs) in managing and/or providing support for various product lines or a specific product line within Lab & specialty chemicals (LSC) portfolio.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Sr. Associate or Specialist - will support Stable Isotopes business primarily, but also will support Discovery Chemistry & Services as a whole.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Content development:

  • Content creation and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for top 3K products
  • Write/review technical articles, protocols, application guide for key product line
  • Parse out guides/Acta/tech articles into reusable pieces


2. Web Content Management:
  • Content audit and Gap analysis
  • System one management
  • Online Product Catalog (OPC) management for hub & spoke and future web architecture
  • Landing page optimization for hub & spoke and SEO
  • Develop dashboard for stable isotope pages activity
  • Develop activity measures to identify products for stock, supply chain opportunities


3. New product ideation:

Evaluate new product ideas and make recommendations on whether to bring to market through criteria such as publication frequency, vendor availability, competitive landscape, licensing requirements, profit potential and sales forecast

4. Work with business development, project management, and/or R&D teams to license/acquire new technologies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education: MSc/PhD in Organic Chemistry

Experience:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in scientific content writing
  • 2 years of experience in Digital marketing, business development, product management, tactical marketing, technical support, R&D, sales or some combination thereof will be an added advantage
  • Understanding of key competitors within the life science chemicals market
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market data to gather actionable insights
  • Experience in web and google analytics usage is a plus


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES / SKILLS

  • Advanced understanding of scientific concepts, research experiments and scientific literature with minimum guidance; ability to do extensive scientific literature searches and identify important research ideas with minimum guidance; ability to identify important sources of new research trends with minimum guidance
  • Advanced ability to use appropriate keywords to acquire relevant search results with no guidance; understand the trending research areas from sources like Google Scholar, high-tier journals and NCBI with minimum guidance
  • Excellent oral and written communication with members of the team; Good oral and written communication and with external and internal customers; ability to resolve communication challenges faced with external and internal customers
  • Advanced business acumen
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office
