SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Senior Analyst - Product Management works jointly with Cell Biology Franchise to provide specialized financial and analytical reporting.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Senior Analyst - Product Management will support the product line managers by reporting revenue and digital marketing metrics monthly.

The individual will have a solid analytical understanding of data from life science market and related technologies in order to suggest focus areas.

Senior Analyst - Product Management may also support the group's effort as assigned to meet department, business unit and company objectives.

Other additional duties may be assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare and distribute Cell Biology Franchise monthly sales report by combining MM, SIAL, Biochrom and Japan Serum sales figures into a consolidated report
  • Develop and maintain Daily Sales models for Core and Specialty cell culture areas
  • Assist with development and launch of Digital Dashboard
  • Execute on change requests as needed through various web platforms, including Google Analytics, Data Studio, Brightedge, etc.
  • Track and report out performance of ads (insite, Hero, etc.)


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Masters in any stream of life sciences with at least 2 years of experience in cell culture techniques/data analysis/scientific literature analysis/competitor tracking

OR

Bachelors in any stream of life sciences with at least 3 years of experience in cell culture techniques/data analysis/scientific literature analysis/competitor tracking

Experience:
  • At least 1 - 2 years of experience in analysis of scientific literature and/or market data
  • Understanding of key competitors within the life science market
  • Demonstrated ability to identify upcoming or trending areas of life science research


Technical Skills / Competencies:
  • Basic understanding of MS Excel and ability to navigate excel functions & formulas
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to gather actionable insights
  • Efficient written communication with members of the team; good oral and written communication with internal customers
  • Ability to analyze data to offer actionable insights to the larger team
  • High levels of attention to detail
