Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist - Bio Pharm Materials

Location: Mumbai/Ahmedabad/Pune

Job Description:

To leverage the technical expertise and assist Sales teams in converting business opportunities in qualifying cGMP grade chemicals in India and neighbouring countries. Solving the customer's technical queries and support them in developing the product to drive growth of cGMP grade chemicals of our company and to achieve the organizational goals

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expert in exceeding the assigned growth targets for Bio Pharm Material product portfolio by successfully managing the TSS team. Partner with Regional & Key account managers and assist them for joint visits to customers for technical discussions and qualification of chemical portfolio. Develop strategies for responsible accounts and ideate new methodologies to ensure growth of chemical business. Understand and analyse the market trends and industry expectations to accelerate growth drivers of chemicals portfolio. Keep an update on competitor activity and ensure to initiate disruptive strategies to tackle the shortcomings. Track the progress of projects and liaise with the respective stakeholders to ensure product portfolio approvals in the Biotech market. Develop short, mid & long-term goals for pharma customers in India and neighbouring countries and to expand the customer base and ensure strong presence of chemical portfolio. Develop relationships with industry experts, decision makers and key drivers to ensure sustainability and progression of chemical business.

  • Provide technical assistance to sales team and to convert leads into opportunities and win projects on technical, technological & application expertise
  • Liaise with respective stakeholders in the organization to help qualify chemicals and to win commercial business.
  • Drive new product introductions at the customers, decision makers and opinion leaders
  • Forecasting the customer's requirements on a quarterly basis and assist Sales teams to ensure business growth is achieved
  • Achieve product seeding targets and track projects and developmental activities at customer sites on a regular basis

    Qualification, Experience & Skills:

    BE - Master's Degree or equivalent qualification in Biotechnology. 8-10 years of industry experience in Sales / Sales Development or Marketing/Techno-Commercial role in promoting cGMP grade chemicals for Pharma application
