SAP Position Title: Business Analyst

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:



Analyze the different business metrics and build a robust reporting model to support the business decisions.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Discover the information from the large set of data and build reports/scorecard/business insights through machine learning techniques. This role will be based out of Shared business services in Bangalore and cuts across various business functions. The individual will participate in various meetings and discussions to understand the needs of the business through data mining, data analytics and algorithms.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction model to support various Business/service functions.

• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems

• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis

• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner

• Building forecast model and build predictive models with the relevant information

• Support different functions like Sales, Finance, Supply chain, competitive intelligence etc. on their analytics

• Implementing and developing data visualization models for the business presentations

• Research, design, implement and validate cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse sources of data to achieve targeted outcomes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• Graduate/Masters in business management.

• Certified in any widely used analytics tool

Experience:

3 to 5 years in algorithm development and analyzing large-scale of data

Good experience working with virtual teams

Technical Knowledge and Skills:



Good business acumen

Sound understanding data mining, machine learning, Clustering, Analytics

Proficiency with at least one programming language such as R, SAS, Python etc.

Advanced Excel Skills

Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
